Robert L. Cucin, M.D., F.A.C.S . is a practicing plastic surgeon
in Manhattan affiliated with The Presbyterian - New York, Beth Israel North
and New York University Downtown Hospitals. He received
his undergraduate training from Cornell University where he received his B.A. and graduated
magna cum laude in chemistry and with distinction in all subjects.
He was granted his M.D. from Cornell Medical College and
did both his General Surgery and Plastic &
Reconstructive Surgery residences at The New York Hospital -
Cornell University Medical Center. He is board-certified
in general surgery, plastic surgery and legal medicine
and has a teaching appointment at Cornell Medical College.
Having widespread interests, he also received
a Juris Doctor from Fordham Law School and is duly admitted
to the New York, New Jersey and D.C. Bars and the American
Trial Lawyers Association. His original research has been the subject
of numerous contributions to the medical literature and he has published
books in the fields of both medicine and law. Dr. Cucin established the
Rocin
Foundation for Plastic Surgical Research to support his academic research
and employs his combined degrees and experience in heading a Biotechnology
Analysis and Advisory Service.
